16-Year-Old Author and Pattern Designer

Phoenix Bess is an established knitting designer, and she's only 16-years old!   The Central Youth Wing carries her new book of flirtacious patterns, It Girl Knits under the call number YA 746.432 B (click here for the catalog record).  As we like to say in the library, check it out!  Phoenix also maintains a blog.  Here's the link.

Teen Knitter and Crocheter Magazine Blog

The Teen Knitter and Crocheter Magazine Blog is written for teens and by teens.  You'll find tips, tutorials, observations, knitting-inspired fiction, and the occasional pattern.  TKCM debuted last June, and they have published four issues.  The last one came out back in December.  I hope they'll post another one soon.

Welcome to Our Bloggity New Homepage!

Hi Everyone!  Our knitting website is sporting  a new look.  This homepage is now a blog!  We'll post news here, as well as interesting tidbits that don't quite fit into other parts of our website.  I hope eventually that you'll be able to submit guests posts and book reviews that you write.  In the meantime, if you come across any links, videos, or anything you feel needs to be profiled here, please share it with me!
